MARRIAGE SCRIPTURES

1.    Proverbs 18:22 says, “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.”
2.   Matthew 19:5-6 says, “And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one
flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
3.    Psalm 11:3 says, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
4.    Psalm 128:3 says, “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.”
5.    Proverbs 5:18 says, “Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.”
6.    Proverbs 19:14 says, “House and riches are the inheritance of fathers and a prudent wife is from the Lord.”
7.    Proverbs 31:10 says, “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”
8.    Eccles. 4:9 says, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”

9.    Eccles. 4:11-12 says, “Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? [12] And if one prevail against him,
two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

10.  Deut. 32:30 says, “How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had
        shut them up?”

11.  Genesis 2:18, 24-25 says, “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Therefore
shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. [25] And they were both naked, the
man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”

12.  Malachi 2:14-16 says, “Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou
hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. [15] And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the
spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the
wife of his youth. [16] For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith
the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.”
